Free Workshops in Barnum Neighborhood

Beginning in August, we’re bringing a series of workshops in support of adult artists and creatives in Denver’s Barnum and surrounding neighborhoods. These workshops will foster creative community, provide artists with resources for personal & professional growth, and deepen health & wellness through the arts. So if you are an emerging or returning artist or a creative looking to grow in your artistic journey, these workshops are intended to support your flourishing.

Each workshop will be held at Bethany United Methodist Church across the street from the Ross-Barnum Library. Our artist in residence, Marcel Ayala Bandera, has a studio there and the space will be a hub for creative gatherings. Marcel and Transforming Creatives Executive Director, John Maikowski, will lead the workshops for the community.

Funding for these support services is provided in part by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts and by individual donations. All workshops and services are provided free of charge.

To be part of this important work of creative community development, you can donate here.

To join one of the workshops, you can get scheduling and registration details on Eventbrite or give us a call at (303) 720-6452.
