Free Workshops in Barnum Neighborhood

Since August 2024, we’ve been bringing a series of workshops in support of adult artists and creatives in Denver’s Barnum and surrounding neighborhoods. These workshops foster creative community, provide artists and creatives with resources for personal & professional growth, and deepen health & wellness through the arts. So if you are an emerging or returning artist or a creative looking to grow in your artistic journey, these workshops are intended to support your flourishing.

Each workshop is held at Bethany United Methodist Church across the street from the Ross-Barnum Library or down the street at the Southwest Improvement Council. Local Denver artists Marcel Ayala Bandera and Dennis Wright lead these workshops for the community.

Funding for these support services is provided in part by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts and by individual donations. All workshops and services are provided free of charge.
